UK Affiliate Manager for Fashion Company
We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented online affiliate manager with experience and a good knowledge of general online marketing including affiliate, partnership and direct online marketing, together with excellent communication skills.
You would be working for one of the largest European clothing companies growing the online market presence in the UK.
Company History:
Bestseller is a family-owned clothing company founded in Denmark, in 1975 by Troels Holch Povlsen. Today, Bestseller employs more than 39,000 people – designing, developing, selling and marketing Bestseller’s brands. Bestseller’s clothes and accessories are sold to young women and men, teenagers and children, and they are sold under the brand names: EXIT (1986), Vero Moda (1987), Jack & Jones (1990), VILA (1993), name it (1996), ONLY (1996), Selected (1997), Pieces accessories (2003), Object Collectors Item (2003), mama•licious (2005) and OUTFITTERS NATION (2007). Our clothes and accessories are sold in Europe, the Middle East, China and Canada, mainly through our chain stores but also through more than 12,000 independent retailers. The first independent Bestseller shop opened in 1988 and today Bestseller has more than 4,100 shops in 41 countries. These shops are based on close and loyal relationships between business partners and Bestseller - with Bestseller being the main supplier. In 2006/7 Bestseller’s turnover was € 1,397 mil. This does not include turnover and earnings for China as well as partner related retail turnover. Despite these figures, it has always been our primary goal at Bestseller to create a company that concentrates on developing people before business.
Bestseller have now launched many of their brands online across Europe and with a strong focus of growing their online presence for the future. The UK is an important market for Bestseller and its brands offline and online and as such strong growth in the UK online is essential. Currently we have two trading sites live, one of our womens brands, ONLY jeans live in the UK http://www.onlyshop.co.uk and also one of our mens brand Jack and Jones http://www.jackjones.com our other brands will be coming live within the next 12 months.
The Role:
- To develop our UK online presence and sales through performance focused marketing
- Assist in our company goal of creating a multi-channel retail company
- To grow our customer club for online and offline sales
- Account manage current online marketing activities
- Gain new marketing partnerships
Required Skills:
- Experience in the world of online marketing
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work alone and as part of a larger team
- Knowledge of CPC and SEO would also be an advanatge
Location:
We have two offices in the UK where you could be based, Manchester or Royston.
Salary:
The salary is very much based on experience, however there will be two elements of any packages, a fixed element and a performance based element.
Other:
A small amount of travel maybe required, and this could include travel to our main offices in Denmark.
